This company is now looking for skilled Citrix VDI Engineers with 4 roles available for immediate start!This is a 6 month contract opportunity.You will be responsible for designing and supporting a VDI infrastructure utilizing Xen Desktop 5.5,Citrix Provisioning Services 6.0,and System Center Virtual Machine Manager.The infrastructure will need to be designed to provide virtual desktops to meet business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, test, and support a VDI infrastructure utilizing Citrix Xen Desktop, Citrix Provisioning Services and System Center Virtual Machine Manager.
Design, test, and document back-end storage for optimal performance for VDI infrastructure.
Design, test, and document integration with SCOM for monitoring the VDI environment.
Develops and adheres to network standards.
Provides planning and technical support for company installations.
Provide assistance to other support groups as necessary
Assists in the selection and recommendation of standardized equipment selection.
Stays abreast of new technologies as it applies to business needs.
performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully,As a Citrix VDI Engineer must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.It is essential to have 6+years experience in the field as a Systems Engineer.Microsoft Exchange and Outlook certifications are desirable
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:

Design and Implementation experience with Citrix Xen Desktop 5.5
Design and Implementation experience with Citrix Provisioning Services 6.0
Design and Implementation experience with Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager
Experience with designing a SAN solution for VDI
Experience with integrating SCOM monitoring for VDI
Design and Implementation experience with Windows Server 2008 R2.
Ability to diagnose and solve problems.
Effectively communicate.
