An excellent opportunity has arisen at a world leading retail bank to work as a Credit Risk consultant in their credit card business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing underwriting and portfolio management strategies for consumer and small business card portfolios.
- Work closely with business development leaders as well as external partners to profitably grow billings through ongoing assessment of customer behaviour, quantitative analyses, and execution of targeted actioning strategies
- The role will involve a high level of interaction with credit operations, marketing, technologies, and other business partners, and may involve projects with Joint Venture partners.
- The scope of responsibilities is wide and diverse, offering the candidate a unique and tremendous opportunity for growth and development in an exciting area of the organisation.
- Must possess excellent analytical, relationship management, and communication skills. Must be self-starter with demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently to drive results.
- Proven ability to apply quantitative techniques and statistical tools and translate results to business solutions.
- The ability to influence others and manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment will be key.
- Experience working in highly cross-functional environments is desirable, as is the flexibility and adaptability to work with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
