Graduate Professional Services Consultant with strong academic/equivalent computing knowledge required to join fast-growing consultancy in the South-West, Southern England Area.We are particularly interested in candidates with a knowledge/desire to learn about Supercomputing or HPC (high performance computing). Our client works with many of the largest IT organisations in the UK and Europe to provide consultancy, advice and strategic technical planning on applications and systems.We are are looking for candidates with good strong numerical academic achievements in Computer Science or Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, Astro-Physics, Further Mathematics or indeed High Performance, Parallel or Grid Computing
Graduate Professional Services Consultant may have knowledge of Unix/Linux server skills/knowledge and C++ development skills as these would be an advantage, however there will be no coding as part of this role. This is strategic and a mixture of technical and non technical consultancyGraduate Professional Services Consultant's role will include the following:= Working closely with clients to enhance their products
= Analyse complex business and technical requirements to design and implement solutions
= Research, evaluate and cost project solutions
= Manage production of project documentation
= Engage in stakeholder consultations and manage escalating issues
= Support Senior Consultants with the direction and undertaking of project objectivesThe role will be mainly client site based around the South West/M4 corridor and will require someone who is academically strong and has the determination and communication skills to succeed.
