Production Support | Operational Readiness Consultant – Testing & Engineering – South Yorkshire. Expanding IT Operations department has an urgent requirement for a Production Support | Operational Readiness Consultant to act as the interface between the production department and the business. The Production Support | Operational Readiness Consultant will be part of a core team who are responsible for ensuring that systems are set up, configured, tested, accepted by the customer and implemented successfully into the business, against specific operational requirements for production use. The Production Support | Operational Readiness Consultant will be required to gather customer requirements, document and translate them into technical activities required to set up parameters relating to relevant systems and coordinate greater interaction with the user community and facilitate formal user acceptance tests while maintaining relationships with customers on behalf of IT regarding delivery of services. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience gained within a Production role together with strong analysis and problem solving skills. Any previous testing experience would be advantageous as would knowledge of in house applications and SQL skills. This is a brand new position that has been created to address the needs of the business and is suited to ambitious and career driven individuals who are dedicated to extending personal knowledge.
