Senior IT Operations Manager, ITIL, Fund Management, London;One of UK's leading UK Fund Management organisations is currently seeking to recruit a Senior IT Operations Manager to lead the Infrastructure and Operations team and drive improvements in operational reporting, governance and effectiveness. Key accountabilities:- From a strong IT operational background, the Senior IT Operations Manager will manage a team of 15 direct reports and will be responsible for:* ensuring the compliance of IT Operations activities with the organisation's Risk Management, Business Continuity, Security and Legal Requirements;* ensuring that data backup and replication is effective (inc. managing outsourced record management services);* managing contracts and relationships in relation to the outsourcing partners/vendors required to deliver IT operations;* owning and developing IT operations management processes and technology and the development of the service management processes (inc. service desk, incident and request management, problem management, etc.);* managing the IT operations budget;* owning the IT facilities (inc. outsourced Disaster Recovery facilities, communication rooms, build room, etc.);* developing/monitoring a relevant training and development programme for IT Operations.This Senior IT Operations Manager role is a unique opportunity to be part of a well-established organisation which strives to recruit, nurture and retain some of the best investment talents in the industry.
